This store is operated by Novo Blinds (1700451 Alberta Ltd.), 9620 62 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 0E2. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.

1. What you are buying

Every blind is custom made to the width, height, fabric and options you select. For inside mounts, enter the opening measurements without deductions; Novo makes the manufacturing allowances. Pricing follows the size band and options shown on the product page. Because the product is made for you, it cannot be resold and is not returnable for change of mind. Our Refund Policy sets out the measurement terms, the 5-year warranty and how we handle damaged or defective goods, and forms part of these terms.

2. Your measurements

Please check each window’s measurements and selected options before ordering. If your blind is made correctly to your order but the measurements you provided are incorrect, a free remake is not included. Contact us to discuss the available options and any cost before you decide. This does not change how we handle manufacturing defects, delivery damage or errors made by Novo, and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

These measurement terms apply to orders placed when this online store launches. Terms already promised for an earlier purchase or written offer remain in place.

Follow the measuring guide and confirm which opening or finished dimensions to enter for your mount before ordering. Do not guess at deductions or mounting clearances. Telephone guidance explains the process; it does not physically verify your window.

3. Prices, tax and payment

All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude tax. Applicable GST, HST or PST is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Payment is taken in full when you place the order. We may correct an obvious pricing or description error before production begins; if we do, we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Order confirmation and production

Your order is placed when you complete checkout. The automatic order receipt acknowledges your order; it is separate from Novo’s confirmation that your blind is entering production. You may cancel for a full refund before we send the confirmation that your blind is entering production. Once a blind is in production it has been cut to your size and can no longer be cancelled.

5. Shipping

We ship within Canada only. Rates, delivery times and our responsibilities for parcels in transit are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; anything damaged before that point is our responsibility.

6. Installation and use

Online blind orders are shipped to you; installation is arranged separately. Confirm the supplied hardware and follow the installation and safety instructions for your product and mounting surface. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse or alterations is not covered by the warranty.

7. Warranty

Every blind is warranted for 5 years from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use, as set out in our Refund Policy. Our liability for any order is limited to repairing or replacing the blind, or refunding the price paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law.

8. Fabric and colour

Screens and photographs cannot reproduce fabric exactly, and colour varies with the light in your room. Fabric swatches are free, with C$25 postage per sample pack included in its displayed price. We recommend ordering them before you buy. Minor variation between a sample or image and the finished blind is normal and is not a defect.

9. Accuracy of the store

We work hard to keep every price, size range and specification on this store accurate. If we find an error, we will correct it and, where it affects an order that has not entered production, contact you before proceeding.

10. Your information

How we collect and use your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta.
